When you study the life of Jesus, you realize that he was and is the Liberator of those who are oppressed by the system, the Lover of those who are rejected by society and the Deliverer of those who have been seduced by consumerism.  As his people, we have been sent into the world just as he was sent by his father (John 20:21), so we are called to be activists, joining God, through the power of the Spirit, to be agents of social justice.

You can learn about how I seek to stand with the poor and the oppressed, by clicking on The Solis Foundation, the Unembraced, the East Hollywood Neighborhood Council or Peace Making on the upper corner of this page.  Let me know if you would like to get involved in any of these ventures.
